La Course des Demois’elles

I had the great pleasure of collaborating with the cycling club Donnons des elles au vélo to create the poster for their event: la Course des Demois’elles, a 100% women’s cycling race held in Évry-Courcouronnes.
To capture the essence of this unique and inspiring event, I illustrated two cyclists in action, embodying the energy and camaraderie of the women’s cycling community. As a backdrop, I incorporated an iconic architectural element of the city: the Cathedral of the Resurrection Saint-Corbinien, designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta in the 1990s. This monument of contemporary design echoes the boldness and modernity of the race, linking sport and local culture.
The poster is a tribute to the values of surpassing oneself, solidarity and femininity that define not only this event, but also the spirit of those who take part.
